Selton Hill Exhibition in Fenagh Visitor Centre

Tomorrow marks the 101st Anniversary of the Selton Hill Ambush. Funding was provided last year to support an exhibition in Fenagh Visitor Centre however it could not go ahead due to covid. The exhibition is now going ahead and opening tomorrow Friday the 11th of March 2022..

Book Launch

The Book Launch is available to view below including some words from Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council Cllr Mary Bohan and Chairperson of Leitrim County Council’s Decade of Centenaries Committee Cllr Paddy O’Rourke.

Selton Hill Commemoration

The commemoration section is now available to view and can also be seen in the Video Gallery. Thanks to David, PJ and Kevin from the Kiltubrid Pipe Band for providing the music, Mark Kiernan (grandson of Bernie Sweeney) for raising the flag and Margaret Flynn, on who’s land the tragedy occurred, for laying the wreath.
